Senior citizens

The annual Abbeyleix senior citizes Christmas Party takes place on Sunday, January 13 in the Parish Hall in Fr Breen Park. Meal from 2pm and there will be singing, dancing and music until 7pm.

NEW YEAR FITNESS Bootcamp starting Monday January 7 from 8pm to 9pm and Wednesday January 9 from 7pm to 8pm.

Pilates

Starting Wednesday January 9 from 8.15pm to 9pm. All take place in the Manor Hotel, Contact Brid at 086 3850977.

Storytelling

Every Thursday in Abbeyleix library between 3pm and 4pm there is storytelling and singing for children aged 3-6 with Lesley. All are welcome. Call Walter and Aideen on 057-8730020 if any queries.

Knitting

Abbeyleix Library Knitting Club resumes on Tuesday January 8. It takes place between 11am-1pm each Tuesday. If interested give your name at the desk or contact Aideen and Gillian on 057-8730020.

Adult book club

The next meeting of the library adult book club takes place between 6 and 7pm on Thursday January 10.
