KIERAN “MONO” MANAHAN MEMORIAL NIGHT

On Saturday March 2 there will be a gala night in Dec’s Bar ,Durrow starting at 8.30 pm. This is the Kieran “Mono” Manahan Memorial night with all proceeds going to a Local Adolescent Treatment Centre. There will be a huge auction of up to fifty items including ,trip for two to Man.Utd game in 2013-2014, signed Kilkenny Jerseys’, All -Ireland Hurling final tickets, Full Lambs, vouchers from 100 euro, mid-week breaks etc etc. there will also be a Raffle of over 20 prizes, tickets only 5 euro for pack. Wonderful prizes all worth winning. there will also be Wax and Dye, Slave Auction and much more. Music by Billy White, M.C. and auctioneer Martin Lawlor. Admission is free all welcome. Please come and support this very worthy cause and get yourself a bargain in the auction.

Session in D’House

Heritage House Company wish to train a community based group of musicians, dancers and singers in the art of stage performance in order to create an attractive tourist contribution in Abbeyleix. One of the objectives of Heritage House is to maintain this tradition in the community.

Quiz Night

Community Quiz night in aid of the community defibrillator will be held in O’Seachnasaigh’s Bar, Ballinakill on Friday. March 1 at 9pm. Table of 4, €20. Anyone who wishes to donate a spot prize can contact Helen Lalor on 086-8749188. All monies raised from the table quiz will go toward maintaining the defibrillator and training people to use it.
