DURROW/ABBEYLEIX MACRA

Durrow abbeyleix macra would like to wish both our men and women’s basketball teams the best of luck in the upcoming Macra na Feirme basketball finals in UL Limerick on the 24th of May. Both teams won the county round of the competition and will now represent Laois in the competition. LATE DR MARY PAYNE

Condolences to the family of the late Dr Mary Payne (nee O’Sullivan) of Cardiff, Wales, and formerly Clonking, Abbeyleix who died on February 28. Beloved daughter of the late John; deeply regretted by her loving husband Mike, daughter Catherine, mother Nora, brother Eamonn, sisters Anne and Grainne, relatives and friends. Funeral Service on Thursday, March 14 on Thornhill Crematorium, Cardiff.
