Wedding

The wedding of Zoe Doheny (eldest daughter of Sean and Jacqueline Doheny) Ballinalacken and Gerard Mooney (son on John and Kathleen Mooney) Monaclear, Ballinakill took place on Friday, 21st September 2012 at the Church of the Assumption, Ballyouskill. The wedding ceremony was preformed by Very Reverend Fr. Larry Wallace, P.P., Muckalee assisted by Very Reverend Fr. Sean Conlon P.P., Ballinakill and Very Reverend Fr. Murphy, P.P., Ballyragget. The groomsmen were Denis Gowing, John Mooney and Liam Walsh. The bridesmaids were Jennie Doheny, Shonagh Doheny and Niamh Treacy. The page boy was Mark Kennedy and the flower girls were Tara Clarke and Sarah Hafaiedh. The reception was held in the Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny and the happy couple will soon embark on their honeymoon to the USA. We wish them the very best of luck and happiness for the future.

Getting the Wheel going again

Best of luck to Mr P Holohan on running the Wheel Inn in Ballyouskill which has reopended after a lapse of five and a half years

Attanagh Residents Association

A meeting of the above will take place this Tuesday evening October 2. The Tidy Towns Competition results will be reviewed and plans made for the winter card games.
