Centenarian

Congratulations to Mrs Kate Kerins of Birmingham, England who has celebrated her one hundredth birthday. She was born at Grennan (Tallyhoe) Attanagh on March 4 1913 and was second eldest of the family of Patrick and Ellen Moylan. She married Oliver Kerins of Knockanoran, Durrow and they emigrated to Birmingham where they reared their son and daughter. Kate’s husband and son are deceased and she is now cared for by her daughter Patricia Hougtan. Her brother Michael still resides in Grennan and brother John in Durrow. Kate is wished many more years of happiness.

25 Progressive Card Games

There were six tables the 25 Progressive Card Games in Ballyouskill Hall. The winners were Ned Delaney and Tom Moore (11 games); Jim Walsh and John Mooney (10 games).
