Weekly draw was conducted at Portlaoise Parish Centre on Wednesday August 22, the following were the numbers drawn 3,4,17,21. There was no Jackpot winner. 19 lucky winners matched three numbers and received €53-00, each. There were three winners from Ballyfin. Jackpot being played for on 29/8/12 is €20,000. Tickets are 2-00 euro each and can be obtained from any of the promoters.

Irish Dance Classes

Irish dancing classes for children (all ages welcome) will commence in Ballyfin Community Centre on Wednesday 5th September, 2012 at 6 p.m. Enquiries to Christina Dunne, TCRG 086 3619303.

Defibrillator Course

Anybody interested in completing a first responder course-defibrillator and cpr(4hrs duration) to contact Donncha on 0868316291 as soon as possible to work out numbers,course is now likely to take place in October.

Fund Raiser 

During September we will be collecting old clothes/linen/towels and mobile phones etc so please use this opportunity for a clear out.  Details of drop off points and times will be available shortly.  

Disco 

There will be a First, Second & Third Year Disco in the private function room of the Deadmans Inn this Friday 31st August at 9pm to 12midnight, sharp.  This is a fully supervised event with strictly no alcohol.  Admission is €8 to include cloakroom.
