FOROIGE: Foroige will re-open on Friday night September 21 at 8.30pm to 10pm. Please note all young people from 1st year to leaving cert are welcome. We would also welcome any new leaders over the age of 18 to 25 years to form a rota to facilitate Friday night meetings for the above club.

Lynam School of Irish Dancing

Lynam School of Irish Dancing will be holding their classes in Camross hall every Wednesday from 3pm tp 4.15pm, all are welcome.

Camross Monthly Dance

Next dance in Camross Hall will take place on Saturday October 6 from 9.30 to 12.30. Supper as usual. Music on the night will be by Brendan Lee.

Coolrain Tidy Towns

The Tidy Towns committee received notice that the application for a playground in Coolrain village has been granted. The committee will now submit a tender for the supply and works associated with The development. Huge gratitude is owed to Coolrain vintage club and all who made donations over the past number of years and for their patience sincere thanks is also given to Laois County Council, Laois Partnership and Councillor Michael Lalor who put in a lot of work to make the playground achievable in what has been a long process. Updates on progress will be given in the coming weeks.
