The Tidy Towns committee received notice that the application for a playground in Coolrain village has been granted. The committee will now submit a tender for the supply and works associated with The development. Huge gratitude is owed to Coolrain vintage club and all who made donations over the past number of years and for their patience sincere thanks is also given to Laois County Council, Laois Partnership and Councillor Michael Lalor who put in a lot of work to make the playground achievable in what has been a long process. Updates on progress will be given in the coming weeks.
