Internet Safety

Camross NS in conjunction with Castletown NS,Kilanure NS, Rushall NS, and Roscomroe NS, are hosting a seminar/information night for parents/guardians on internet safety in Camross Hall on Wednesday, March 20 at 8.00pm. Karl Petrie from eSafety is the tutor on the night.

The Easter Ceremonies in Camross Church are as follows: Wednesday: Penitential Rite at 7.30pm, Holy Thursday: Mass at 8pm, Good Friday: Liturgy at 3pm, Easter Saturday: Vigil Mass at 9pm, Easter Sunday: Mass at 10.30 a.m.

The Ceremonies in Kilanure Church are : Holy Thursday: Eucharistic Service 7pm, Good Friday: Liturgy at 7.30pm, Easter Sunday: Mass at 9pm.

Clonenagh Group Parishes: The Easter Ceremonies in Clonenagh group of Parishes are as follows: Monday, March 25: Roskelton 8pm; Tuesday: Annatrim 8pM; Wednesday: Borris-in-Ossory 8pm; Holy Thursday: Mountrath 8pm; Good Friday: Walking with the cross from the Hollow to Roskelton commencing at 10am, The Last Hour, Mountrath 2pm, Lacca Service 8pm; Easter Eve: Annitrim Service and Communion at 7pm, Easter Sunday: Seir Kieran 7am, Borris-in-Ossory 8.15am, Roskelton 9.30 am, Lacca 10.30am, Mountrath 11.30a.m.

Whist Drive

We had no whist drive this week owing to bad weather.

Garden Fete

A garden Fete will be held on Easter Monday from 2pm to 500pm at the home of Dennis and Dorothy Delaney, Rossadown, Mountrath to raise funds for the Irish Wheelchair Association Sports. Their Granddaughter Sinead Keon is involved in the association. There will be Tombola, Wheel of Fortune, Cake stall, Lucky Dip, Bric a Brac, Teas, Coffees and much more. Pope

As every other Parish, county and diocese will be doing, we wish to extend good wishes and good health to our new Pope and we assure him of our prayers.

Dance

The next dance will take place on Saturday, April 6. Music by Pat & Richie. Thank you to all our patrons and to all who help out on the night and in particular a thank you to those who supply the superb food for the supper.

CONGRATS

Congratulations to Ciaran Collier, Daniel Delaney, Craig Delaney and Wayne Mcarthy who were all part of the Colaiste Phobail hurling squad who beat Borrisokane in the senior vocational schools A Munster hurling final on Wednesday, March 6.The hurlers now go on to meet St Fergals, Rathdowney in the All Ireland semi final.

While Maeve Collier and Courtney Lally claimed All-Ireland senior camogie glory the following saturday.
