Who wants to be a Thousandaire

Castletown and Slieve Bloom GAA Clubs will hold a joint ‘Who wants to be a Thousandaire’ on the Sunday night of the October Bank Holiday weekend at the Manor Hotel Abbeyleix. The event will be launched at Toms Bar Mountrath on Thursday September 27. Tickets to the show will be on sale soon.

Sympathy

Sympathy is extended to Fenton Kavanagh and family, Cuddagh on the recent death of his aunt Breda Maher, Dromard, Shanakill, Templemore, Co. Tipperary. RIP.

Tidy Towns

Castletown is once again the winner of the county title in the Tidy Towns Competition. Well done to the few loyal volunteers who keep everyone motivated. Well done to all who help even if by keeping their own premises in good order.
