SOCIAL DANCING

Social Dancing takes place on Friday October 12 from 9:30 pm to 12 midnight in the Clonaslee Community Centre. Cost is €8 with music by Adrian Ryan.

COMMUNITY ALERT

A meeting on Monday October 15 at 8:30 pm in the Community Centre. All members please attend. New members welcome. The committee ask everyone to be extra vigilant as the dark nights are approaching. Don’t entertain anyone calling to your door saying they are from Saorview. If anyone or group would like to help with the switch over on October 24 you may contact Paul Corr on 8624720 or 087 2863639. Paul has been visiting communities and organisations ensuring the most vulnerable and isolated are aware of the switch over. Any problems with monitor alarm please contact Teresa Moloney on 087 9705651. Teresa is always there to install monitor alarms and help elderly people.

SOCIAL SERVICES

Join us every Thursday at 7 pm in the Community Centre. Please come along for a game of bingo, a chat and cuppa. Contact John Callaghan, Chairman on 087 6132044.

COMMUNITY LIBRARY

Our library is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 2pm to 4pm. A great selection of books available. To join the library, drop into or contact Matt Barrett on 8648519. A great way to pass the time on the long nights.

SOCIAL AND SEQUENCE DANCING

A great night of dancing and exercise every Tuesday night from 8 pm to 9.30 pm in the Community Centre. Maureen Culliton is the teacher with over 25 years of experience. No partner needed, light refreshments served after the session. All very welcome to join in the fun.

MUSIC CLASSES

An information and enrolment night will be held for music classes being run by the Clonaslee branch of CCE on Thursday October 11 at 7 pm in the Parochial Hall. Lessons for the following instruments will be offered: tin whistle, fiddle, flute, button accordion, piano accordion, banjo and keyboard. More information will be available on the night.

PARENT TODDLER MORNING

The Clonaslee branch of the Parent Toddler morning is on Tuesday mornings from 9.30 am to 11.30 am in the Clonaslee Community Centre. Cost is €3 per family.

IRISH DANCING

Siobhan Doorman will be in the Parochial Hall on Tuesdays from 4.30pm to 5.30pm. All children welcome, all levels catered for. For more information contact Siobhan on 086 8568029.

PILATES

Pilates classes is on in the Heritage Centre on Wednesdays at 8pm. Contact Marie Fogarty on 087-282-6088.
