Classes in Set Dancing continue in Behans of Tolerton on Thursdays commencing at 8.30 pm. All are welcome.

ROSARY

The Rosary is recited at Our Lady’s Shrine, Rossmore, each Sunday at 3 pm. All are welcome.

SYMPATHY

Sympathy is extended to the family of Mrs Lily Tunstead, Cruttenclough, who died recently in St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Also sympathy is extended to the family of the late Jim Scully, Ballinakill, Ballickmoyler, who died at Portlaoise General Hospital last week.

Raffle winners were Mary Quigley, Tom Gowing, Betty Conway and Mick Mooney. Whist continues as usual on Saturday next.

Congratulations to Declan Byrne, Monavea and Johanna Dinn, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin, who were marreid in St Mary’s Church, Mayo, on Saturday week last.

CRETTYARD GFC

Last weeks winners in the Crettyard Footballers Lotto were Marty Delaney, Shanrath, Wolfhill, Ann Brennan-Tunstead, c/o Peter Brennan and Paul O’Shea, Newtown. The winning numbers were 6-13-15-20.

DRAMA

Crettyard United AFC presents “The Bit of Land” and “Trouble at the Station” in Behans of Tolerton on this Friday and Saturday 25th and 26th January commencing at 8 pm. Doors open at 7.30 pm. Admission is 10 euro for adults.
