Top Score at Newtown Whist on Saturday last was won by Rita Brennan. 1st lady; Maureen Coady and P Kavanagh. 1st Gent: Owen Salmon. 2nd Gent: Eamon Wheatley. 1st Half: Sean Langton. 2nd half: M. O’Brien and E. Owens. 1st half: Sean Langton. 1st quarter Kathleen Mooney. Raffle winners were Hannah Moore, Betty Shore, Maureen Coady, Tom Kealy Gerry Kealy. Whist continues as usual on Saturday night in Newtown School.

The Rosary is recited on Sunday next at 3 pm at Our Lady’s Shrine, Rossmore.
