Death

The parish of Durrow /Cullohill and surrounding parishes were shocked and deeply saddened to hear of the sudden death of Bill Walsh, Cullohill, at his residence on October 2. A member of a very highly respected farming family in the area the late Bill Walsh was held in high esteem by everyone. He is survived by his loving wife Mary, son Jimmy, daughters Marie, Annette, Eileen, Frances and Carmel, daughter in law Bernadette, sons in law, grandchildren, relatives and a huge circle of neighbours and friends. The huge attendance at his wake, removal and funeral mass was to offer to the Walsh family their deepest sympathy and to pay their last respects to a wonderful man. His remains were removed to St Tigearneach’s Church, Cullohill on Wednesday evening and burial took place in adjoining cemetery after Requiem mass on Thursday. Sincerest sympathy is extended to Mary and the Walsh family on their great loss.
