THE LATE TOM TYNAN

The death took place on September 4 of Thomas Tynan, Kylehaw, Errill. He is deeply regretted by his brother James, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives and friends. He reposed at Grey’s Funeral Home, Templemore and was removed from there following funeral prayers to Our Lady, Queen of the Universe Church, Errill on Thursday. Following requiem mass on Friday he was buried in St Kieran’s New Cemetery. Tom was a member of the Errill senior hurling team which won the Laois hurling final in 1952. His coffin was draped with the Errill GAA flag. May he rest in peace.

MONTHLY SOCIAL

The next monthly social in St Bernadette’s Hall takes place on this coming Friday night September 14. Music is by Pat Conlon and Richie Burke. Dancing is from 9.30pm to 12.30am. Supper is served during social and all are welcome to attend.

ERRILL GAA LOTTO

There was no winner of the jackpot on the last draw which took place on September 3. There were two Match Three winners who shared €100. The numbers drawn were 2-4-24 and 26. The jackpot on September 10 will be €13,000. Tickets can be purchased in Walsh’s shop, in Ray’s Bar, in Dowling’s Bar and from local promoters.

SET DANCING CLASSES

Set dancing classes have in Fitzpatrick’s Lounge, Clonmore on Thursday nights commencing at 9pm. All are welcome. For further information contact Paddy on 087 6748199.
