Family loss for GAA boss

THE official duties of GAA President Liam O’ Neill at last Sunday’s All Ireland final were tinged with sadness as he mourned the death of his sister, Barbara O’ Neill.

Barbara, who lived in London, passed away at the weekend after a long illness.

She is mourned by her daughters, sisters, brothers, aunt, nephews, nieces and friends.

The family funeral will be held for Barbara in London.

A month’s mind Mass will be held in St Fintan’s church in Mountrath on Sunday October 14 at 11am.

The family ask for no flowers, but if people wish to donate, they can donate to Ovarian Cancer Research.
