KILLESHIN FC LOTTO
There was no winner of the recent lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 09, 20, 22 and 28. The four lucky dip winners were Declan Brennan, Bill Delaney, Sandra Nolan and Emma Crimmins, each will receive €25 and the seller’s prize of €25 was won by Darragh McDonald. The jackpot for next draw stands at €6300 and tickets can be purchased for €2 from any club member or in the local shop and public houses.
TEXAS HOLD’EM
Killeshin FC is running a Texas Hold’em poker night in the Glenside Lounge on Friday October 12. Registration takes place at 8pm and costs €20. Cash prizes on the night. Food supplied also.

ALTAR SERVERS
Last Sunday at the 10.15am mass new altar servers were commissioned for Holy Cross Church and next Sunday new altar servers for St Clare’s Church will be commissioned at the 11.30am mass. We thank the young people for volunteering for this special ministry. We thank also Jackie Chapman and Vera Bolger for training and co-ordinating the servers.
KILLESHIN SCHOOL CALENDAR

SWIM CLUB ASSESSMENTS
St Fiacc’s swimming club is holding assessments for new members on Saturday October 20. Registration at 6.15pm. Swimmers must be capable of swimming, two lengths. Limited places are available. Please note successful candidates will swim Saturday morning only between 6.45am and 8.45am.

Thursday morning club has resumed after 10am mass in St Clare’s. Parishioners are invited into the parish centre after mass for a cuppa and a chat.
