VARIETY NIGHT PLUS SUPPER
Following the great success of the supper dance last year we are holding it again this year on Friday, April 12 in St Fiacc’s Hall. Supper will be followed by a cabaret and dance with an array of local artists taking part. This year the variety night will be in aid of Graiguecullen/Killeshin Lourdes Invalid Fund who takes over 40 people each year to Lourdes. We are seeking volunteers to host a table of ten. WORLD DAY OF THE SICK
Monday, February 11 is the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes and world day of the sick. There will be a special blessing with Holy Oil at all Masses next weekend and we invite all, especially those who are sick in any way to come to receive this special blessing.
THE GATHERING 2013
St Fiacc’s School Reunion will this year marks the 21 year anniversary of the official opening of the school. To mark the occasion there is a very special weekend of reminiscences and memories planned for the June Bank Holiday weekend. These will include a School Open Day and entertainment on May 31, a football blitz and night out on Saturday, June 1 and a special Mass in St Clare’s Church on Saturday evening at 6.30pm. BABY AND TODDLER GROUP
Graiguecullen Baby and Toddler group takes place in St Fiacc’s hall each Friday morning from 10am to 12pm. Come along for a cuppa and a chat while the kids play with a great range of toys. Cost is €3 per adult and all are welcome. For any further information please call Jen on 087 2748784.

K Factor Talent Competition, qualifying rounds will be held on Saturday, February 23 and Saturday, March 2 in Killeshin Hall at 8pm with the doors open at 7.30pm. SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM
The Parish is offering a Baptism Preparation Evening to all parents seeking Baptism for their child. This meeting will take place once a month in our Parish Centre from 7pm to 8.30pm on Monday, February 25 and Monday, March 25. While this evening is optional, we strongly encourage parents to avail of the meeting as we are anxious to assist them in any way we can at this special time.
KILLESHIN FC LOTTO
There was no winner of the recent lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 03, 06, 24 and 28. The four lucky dip winners were A O’Sullivan, Mark O’Regan, Tony Walsh and Sueann Doyle and each received €25. The seller’s prize of €25 was won by Darragh McDonald. The jackpot now stands at €8,100 and tickets cost €2 and can be purchased from any club member or in the local shop and public houses.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY
Children’s Liturgy of the Word takes place on each Sunday at the 11.30am Mass in St Clare’s. We invite all children between four years and first class to join us for our Sunday school. Our aim is to introduce the children to the Mass by taking part in activities appropriate to their age. These activities will take place in the parish centre and will be supervised by adults and students from our second level schools.

SUPPORT CHILDREN WITH AUTISM
Saplings School for Children with Autism are delighted to announce that they have produced their ‘Carlow of Old’ calendar again this year. The calendar was very well received last year and this year they have included a new set of old pictures from different areas around Carlow from the 50’s and 60’s.
