Heritage AGM announced

Laois Heritage Society will hold their AGM in the Heritage Hotel, Portlaoise, on Monday, February 4 at 8pm.

It has been a busy year for the Society which has organised numeorus events during 2012.

The society says that the Spring and Autumn series of talks were interesting and well attended. Heritage Week was again a huge success and the Primary and second level schools Heritage Project attracted a big response. The Society launched its sixth journal just before Christmas and it has been in big demand.

All those interested in preserving the heritage of the county are welcome to attend the AGM.
