Joint policing committee host public meeting

MEMBERS of the public are invited to the Laois County Joint Policing Committee annual public meeting. The meeting will take place on Monday October 8 at 3pm in County Hall, and all interested are welcome to attend.

Questions can be submitted in advance and responses will be given by the committee at the meeting. At the meeting An Garda Siochana will be providing a report as well as Laois County Council. Issues discussed at the last meeting included Laois Comhairle na nOg, drug awareness in the county, community networking, traffic, parking and road safety, and environmental issues including dog fouling awareness and Clena Up Laois week.
