Meeting for special needs assistants

A special information meeting for Special Needs Assistants (SNAs) takes place in Laois Education Centre tonight, Tuesday January 22 at the Laois Education Centre, Block Road, Portlaoise at 7pm.

All SNAs are welcome to attend and new members are welcome to join on the night prior to the meeting.

The South Dublin-South Leinster SNA branch of IMPACT advises that this meeting is one of a series of information meetings being held around the country. Members of the SNA branch executive will be there to discuss the issues faced by SNAs, such as redeployment and other matters arising from the Croke Park agreement.

Information packs tailored for SNAs will be available. An update on the Department of Education & Skills action plan for SNAs will also be available.
