St Patricks Day

The Parade will be held again this year in Monasterevin. Starting at 3pm (note change in time). The committee are encouraging as many people as possible to take part, as it is the ideal way to promote your business or club. So come all and support your parade and the efforts of the organising committee.

Novena

Monasterevin Parish Novena continues every Wednesday night during Lent. Mass is at 7.30pm with the rosary at 7.10pm. Guest speaker on 6 March will be Fr Paddy McDevitt, Director of All Hallows College, Dublin.Guest speaker on 13 March Joe Monaghan, National Chairman of St Vincent de Paul, Ireland. Parish Lotto.Numbers drawn on 26 February 01,05,08,09. Jackpot not won. Winners of €20 J.Melia, G.Harrison,G.Byrne,P.Connolly,B.Collins. Jackpot now €5,000.

LIONS Club

Monasterevin Lions Club aree resuming holding their Monday night dances in The Hazel Hotel, Monasterevin, starting on Monday 4 March. Initially the club will have their dance every second Monday with the Hotel having alternate Mondays. The Lions Club wish to thank the new Hotel management for allowing them to hold the dances and wish them every success. Please support the Lions as all the proceeds go to charity.
