St Patricks Day Parade

Commences at 3.00pm sharp. All walking groups will meet at 1.30pm at Our Ladys Chapel and back along Drogheda St. Floats, cars, horses and other vehicles from from the Train Station back to the High Bridge. Bring along your dogs with their bows and ribbons and win a rosette. Make a big effort with the floats and obey the stewards on the day. The committee has worked hard to organise the parade, so come out and show your support.

Monasterevin Parish Novena

Continues every Wednesday night during Lent. Mass at 7.30pm Guest speaker on March 13 Joe Monaghan, Nat Chairman of St Vincent de Paul, Ireland.

St Pauls Secondary School

Transition year students, staff and management thank the community of Monasterevin for the great support they received for their recent production of Pantomonium and to the local businesses for their sponsorship. The show was a great success and special thanks to Ms Barreett, Mr Keenan & Mr Bergin for the many days and weeks of practice and preparation along with all the staff and members of the community who helped. Thanks everyone.

Monasterevin Community Facilites

Will hold their AGM on Wednesday, March 13 at 8.00pm in St Pauls school. All welcome.

Monasterevin Lions Club

Monday night dances are resumuing in The Hazel Hotel ,Monasterevin, starting on Monday 4 March. Initially the club will have their dance every second Monday with the Hotel having alternate Mondays. The Lions Club wish to thank the new Hotel management for allowing them to hold the dances and wish them every success. Please support the Lions as all the proceeds go to charity.
