THE GATHERING MEETING
The Mountrath & District Business Association will hold a meeting in the Metac Center on Wednesday January 23 at 6.30pm. All local Community groups are invited to attend. Anne Goodwin from Laois Partnership and Dominic Reddin Laois Tourism Officer will be speaking to all those interested in hosting a Gathering Event.
MOUNTRATH AND DISTRICT CAMERA CLUB
It was great to have new members joining the club on the first night back after Christmas! Please keep spreading the word. The club is for every level - beginner to expert, there is always something new to learn and new people to meet. Our next meeting in METAC, Portlaoise Road , Mountrath is on Tuesday January 29 2013 at 8pm. We will have a guest speaker on the night so please try to arrive before 8pm. The theme of ‘Christmas’ has been extended to our next meeting. Our new theme is ‘Landscape’.Photo size must be 8 x 6. 1 photo per theme per person. As always, new members welcome.
TOTS AND CO PLAYSCHOOL
Tots and Co Playschool enrolement week for pre-school goers beginning Sept 2013, will take place from Monday Feburary 4 -Friday February 8. Parents can call to the Playschool anytime between 9 am to 12 noon for a registration form. For any queries contact Colette Phelan on 087 4162377.
