SPORT CYMS
Rathdowney CYMS snooker hall has re-opened. Memberships are now available, at a cost of adult €20, child €10 and family €30. Men, women and children are more than welcome and your support would be most valued. At present the Tony Cantwell Shield is being ran, at a cost of €5, names can be given to any committee member. Looking forward to your valued support.
COFFEE DAY
The final amount raised at Gina’s coffee day for Cuisle was €1,000. Thank you to all who gave so generously and a big thank you to all who worked so hard on the day.
SOCIAL SERVICES
AGM will be held in the centre at Cuan Bhride on Tuesday, March 12 at 8.30. Light refreshments will be served after. All welcome.
CHESS GROUP
meets every Wednesday at 8pm in Rathdowney Golf Club, over 18’s. Lessons available if anyone needs a refresher contact 087 2388064 for more details.

St Vincent de Paul shop is open every Tuesday to Saturday 10am-5pm.
OSSORY CYCLING CLUB
The date for our Cycling tour has been set for Sunday April 21, with a 100K and a 50K challenge.
BINGO
A great Bingo is held every Tuesday Night at 8.30 in the Rathdowney Community Centre. A special Bingo will be held on Sunday March 3 at 3pm. Your support would be greatly appreciated this Bingo is run by the Community Centre Group.
PARENT & TODDLER GROUP
Meet every Friday morning in the Marion Centre (beside the RC Church) from 10-12. All welcome parents and minders with children from new born to pre-school.
RATHDOWNEY MEN’S SHED
is now up and running and very active, it is open every Thursday morning from 10am to 12 noon at the old convent school.
THE GATHERING 2013
New date set for Saturday, July 27. Rathdowney Playground Group will host a gathering ‘The way we played’ in the Playground and MUGA on Saturday, July 4.
KNITTING CLUB
meet every Monday from 2pm to 4.30pm in the communal centre on Cuan Bhride.
FIT4LIFE
meet every Monday, from 7pm-8pm. Meeting point the square. Over 18’s only, high visibility vest must be worn. For further information contact Annie 087 1311770. The Fit4life are holding a 5km walk/run on Sunday April 14, at 2pm from the Marion Centre in aid of the Rathdowney Playground Group.
COMMUNITY CENTRE
set dancing lessons for anyone over 8 years old are being held in the community centre in Rathdowney, every Wednesday from 7-8pm. Dance teacher Mick Doyle.
