Laois Gathering Meeting

You are invited to be part of it on Monday, 8th October at 7.30pm at The Portlaoise Heritage Hotel. In 2013, the people of Ireland will open their arms to family, friends and connections from around the world for The Gathering Ireland. They will be invited to come home and join a celebration of everything great our country has to offer.

At present, there are vacancies for promoter’s in the Reary, Clonaheen, Cloncannon and Capard areas. If you feel you can be of any assistance to your community in this regard, please contact any Rosotto committee member.

Music

Classes for traditional music have returned at Conor Davis Park.

Beginners are at 6:30pm, intermediate at 7:15pm and advanced at 8:15pm. Classes are open to adults and children, come and discuss with the teachers which class is suitable for you. The cost is €4 per person to a maximum of €10 per family. The AGM has had to be postponed again due to unforseen circumstances. The date will be reset and a notice sent out.

Irish Dancing classes

Irish Dancing is on Thursdays in the Green School Rosenallis at 6pm, all welcome, contact Theresa Dunne 087 2390947.
