Electrical recycling

There will be a free collection by WEEE Ireland of electrical items on Tuesday, February 12 at the Rosenallis Church car park, 2pm-6pm. Supported by Laois County Council, this allows people to get rid of any household electrical equipment and batteries in a safe and environmentally friendly manner. There are other days around the county throughout February.

RDA Would like to thank everyone who donated to the St Patrick’s day parade church gate collection held last weekend, we raised €402.32. Thank you so much for your support.

Rosenallis ICA

Rosenallis ICA had their January meeting last Monday. Sympathies were offered to the families of Paddy Fox, John O’Keefe, Patsy Redmond the Murphy family on the death of Richard Hassessy and to Molly McCormack on the death of her grand niece. May they rest in peace, our thoughts are with you at this sad time. Competition was won by Martha Doolan and raffle was won by Sally Egan. Next meeting will be on February 18, as always new members are very welcome.
