Sale of work for Laois Hospice

A GROUP of students attending the Laois VEC Adult Education Programme (ITABE) at MDA, Mountmellick, recently organised a fundraising Sale of Work in aid of Laois Hospice.

This raised €455 for this very deserving cause. A cheque for this amount was presented to Mary Delaney (Laois Hospice) in the Charity Shop, Mountmellick. The students wish to thank Rector Ruth Noble who kindly allowed them to hold this event it in the Church of Ireland Hall Mountmellick, and to everyone in Mountmellick, Portarlington and Portlaoise who donated items, raffle prizes etc. towards the Sale of Work.
