FOROIGE

The Foroige club will be back up and running in weeks and we are looking for new leaders, so if you have 2 hours to spare per week for the betterment of the youth of the area contact Roghan on 087 6813116. It is a great reward to work with the youth it is only 2 hours a week or even 2 hours when it suits you. Please get involved.

TIMAHOE NS

The local school reopens this week coming and all new children attending are wished well.

PLAYGROUND

It is hoped that work on the Playground will commence within the next 2 months, we will be seeking the manual labour and usage of local machinery in this project. It is hoped that we can save money in this area which will help the committee. We have selected a Company from Galway to install and Provide the Playground which will be Insured and Maintained by Laois County Council. The Playground will be situated on Pat Scully’s paddock adjacent from the Round Tower, we would like to thank Pat for assistance in this regard.

The playground will be a natural timber looking playground. Our fundraising continues in order to cover minor costs which we might incur.
