TIDY TOWNS

Please help keep the village clean and tidy.

The club met last Friday for the first time. We have 45 members and a number of new leaders, we have internet access and Sky TV for all the youth to enjoy. Membership is €20 and €30 for a family. It’s €2 per night and we hope to organise a number of outings this year.

LATE TOM DUFF

The death occurred (suddenly) at his residence on September 30 of Mr Tom Duff, Orchard, Timahoe. He is sadly missed by his loving wife Sheila, sons Pat and John, daughters Deirdre and Fiona, sister Nora Brennan, sister-in-law Maureen, brother-in-law Danny, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, relatives and friends. His remains were removed on Wednesday morning at 10.30am to St Michael’s Church, Timahoe for requiem mass. Interment afterwards to adjoining cemetery.
