GAA

The AGM is on Sunday December 16 in the GAA hall at 2.30pm. This is the most important meeting of the year for the club and everyone is encouraged to attend, and have your say.

PLAYGROUND

Work has commenced on the playground and it is hoped to have a lot done over the next few weeks. The committee have organised a Christmas draw which is confined to 250 tickets at €10 each, the draw will be held on Christmas Eve, December 24 in the Tower Inn Timahoe at 9pm. The 1st is €300 2nd is €200 and 3rd is €100. We will also be collecting at masses on December 15/16 in Stradbally and Timahoe. We are committed to raise the much needed funds to complete the project, and we seek your assistance in that regard.

FOROIGE

The club has organised a Christmas party on this Sunday in the hall in Timahoe after mass at 11am. Santa Claus will be in attendance and will have some treats for all the boys and girls.

TIMAHOE NATIONAL SCHOOL

The children of the local school are holding their Christmas show called ‘The Magical Christmas Jigsaw’ on Wednesday December 19 at 7pm in St Michaels Church Timahoe. Tickets are €5 for adults and children are free. Please support and get into the festive humour.

TIDY TOWNS

Please support the Christmas hamper draw, this money is used to buy petrol for the lawn mower during the year to cut the grass in the village.

Timahoe Walk

leads the annual IWA walk on New Year’s Day from 1pm. There are two routes: 6km and 10 kms. Refreshments after in the Community Hall. Sponsorship cards from Johnny or contributions can be made on the day..
