SCOIL MHUIRE

February is enrolment month for Scoil Mhuire Fatima, in Timahoe. Anyone interested in enrolling their child please contact Anne (secretary) for further details at 057 8627051.

GAA

Tickets on sale for the All County Board GAA Draw at present, these tickets are the live blood of the club and provide more than 50% of our income, we appeal to all to continue to support the draw and the club and we thank you sincerely for the support down the years.

MEDLEY DAY

Medley Day is on the 15 and 16 of June this year, we had a meeting last Tuesday evening and a number of events were spoken about. This year we are going to organize a Gathering of Timahoeens from around the country and the world. There will be an open air music performance and also all the frills and spills of Medley day of old. We are appealing to everyone and anyone to get involved this year and spend 4/5 hours on the Sunday doing your bit for the village. There will be another meeting in early March so keep an eye on the notes for the date.

The club is going well this year with thanks to all the leaders and members, we are planning to help out in this year’s Medley Day.

TIDY TOWNS

Please help keep the village clean and tidy during the spring season, with the daffodils and the snowdrops beginning to bloom on the green its important to keep the village clean.
