Thanks to all out loyal ticket buyers again this year, without your support the running of the club would be impossible.

The club went to a disco last Friday night in Castletown and enjoyed themselves.

TIDY TOWNS

ST PATRICKS DAY

The annual St Patrick’s Day parade will take place this coming St Patricks Day, please get out in your clubs/organisations colours and celebrate our national day.

CYCLING

Laois Cycling and Touring Club are inviting you to come and join us for our weekly beginners cycle. Starts at the Maldron hotel on the Abbeyleix Rd on Sundays at 8.50 for a 9am start. MEDLEY DAY

Medley day is on June 15/16 this year, in conjunction with the Gathering. Please if you have any relations/friends oversees encourage them home for this special day in village life.

PLAYGROUND

We hope to make more progress on the playground over the next few weeks. The weather has dried up so hopefully we can make a drive on completing the project.

HALL

A committee has been formed with a view of refurbishing the kitchen in the hall. Your contribution to the envelope collection is very much appreciated.

COLLECTIONS

A lot of local organisations and committees have been gathering monies for various projects in the village, it is a credit to our small area to gather so much and do so much. Your help in all areas is very much appreciated.

FUNDRAISING IN AID OF SERVE

Table quiz in Timahoe Hall on Saturday, March 16 at 8pm. Cake sale in Timahoe Hall on Ester Sunday after 10.30am mass.
