A night of folk in Delaneys

James O'Connor

James O'Connor

THIS Sunday night December 2 sees Roy Buckley, George Murphy and James O’Connor take to the stage in Delaneys. The duo already performed in Delaney’s at the inaugural Song Collectors Sessions which was a massive success and this the reason behind the reunion.

Roy Buckley is well known in Delaney’s having been playing there for the last 12 months and amassing a great following. He is also the founder of the very popular intimate gig ‘The Song Collectors Sessions’. George Murphy is best known from his time on You’re a Star where he impressed viewers with his mature singing at such a young age.

Since leaving the show George has been touring extensively and has been working with some top names including Phil Coulter. The two lads will take the stage together at 7.30pm for a set that fans do not want to miss.

Following George and Roy local favourite James O’Connor will be seeing out the night. James has a huge following in town and will be playing some of his hits including Mr Moon, Falling up and Mr Fake. James has been going from strength to strength lately, recently performing on The Late Late Show with Cathy Davey. Those who have seen him play before know that his performances are not to be missed. James will be kicking off at 9.30 p.m and will be joined on stage by Roy and George for a few numbers.
