PORTLAOISE Comhaltas hosted a traditional concert with friends from neighbouring Comhaltas branches in Dunamaise Theatre, Portlaoise recently to celebrate Culture night.

Chairman of Portlaoise Comhaltas, PJ Phelan said that, “It was great to see such a large attendance of musicians and guests in Dunamaise Theatre to celebrate Culture night. High standards of excellence being achieved through weekly classes and workshops in comhaltas groups throughout Laois was evident. Everyone had a great night”.

Performers ranged from novice to All-Ireland winners.
