Cork folk singer set for Delaney’s

THIS Sunday night all fans of folk music are in for a real treat as one of Irelands best young folk musicians Roy Buckley gets set to play Delaney’s.
Roy is one of the new generations folk singers produced by Ireland. Born in Cork in November 1986 Roy grew up in a musical family and has always been surrounded by folk music. Roy’s music has been dubbed as passionate and real and he creates an amazing atmosphere with his own unique sound of modern day folk.
Roy Buckley is in constant demand both at home and abroad, getting great acclaim for his live performances. Having played and worked with some of the best in the business including Bagatelle, Finbar Furey, The Dubliners and The Black Donnellys, to name but a few. Roy has gained alot in his time and is still just 25 years old.
Roy will be playing in Delaney’s from 9.30pm this Sunday evening and as usual admission is free.
