French drama takes to stage in Portlaoise College

Portlaoise College students who participated in a French play at the school recently

AT the end of last month, the staff and students at Portlaoise College welcomed the French Theatre for School Company back to the school.

The company performed a play in French which was enjoyed by students from all years who attend French classes in the school. Michael Ziemanski, Leah Mullen, Triona Carroll Talbot, Aava Ahern, Kerry Carroll Talbot and Maeve Mitchell all acted on stage with the professional French actors. It was a very successful experience for all the students from Portlaoise College. They laughed a lot and improved their understanding of the French language in a fun and enjoyable manner.
