THE Monasterevin Gospel Choir are having a concert with popular Irish singer Tommy Fleming at St Peter and Paul’s Church in Monasterevin on Friday, October 12 at 8pm.

Tickets for the event are priced at €30 and can be bought in the parish office by contacting 045 525346. Proceeds from the night go towards local schools. The concert is an annual event, featuring well known artists from the past such as Phil Coulter. “The choir have had a great year, they were the only gospel choir to be invited to sing at the Eucharistic Congress,” said Mr Somers of the choir. Tickets are also on sale in Earley’s shop.
