Help on hand to organise local Gathering events

Are you running any kind of event this year? Do you have an idea for a Heritage Week event that may attract overseas visitors? Do you know it only takes one overseas visitor to make your event into a Gathering?!

Liz Kennedy-Burke has been recruited by Laois Partnership as their Gathering/Ireland XO Animator for Laois.

Liz will be available over the coming year to provide support to ensure that we in Laois deliver a large number of successful Gathering and Festival events in 2013.

She will be working closely with members of the Laois Gathering Steering Committee including Dom Reddin, Tourism Officer with Laois County Council and Michael Brady, The Gathering Ireland.

Liz is available to help groups and individuals plan, develop and market their Gathering Events.

Training in organising a festival and in social media marketing (Facebook etc) is also going to be provided by Fáilte Ireland.
