Lethean’s open mic

Lethean Cafe Bar in Portlaoise has been running an open mic session every Sunday night since January and it is proving to be a great success.

It takes place the last Sunday of every month at 7.30pm in the downstairs bar. The open mic has provided a platform for lots of new and upcoming musicians to show off their talents and also to get practice playing in front of an always very supportive crowd. Many of the musicians that played for the first time at the Lethean Open Mic are now performing their own gigs. Those who fancy getting up in front of a crowd can come along next Sunday September 30.
