Rahan set to host play

RAHAN Drama Group will be running its production of ‘The Maiden Aunt’ by Jimmy Keary. It will take place on Friday March 15 and Saturday March 17 in Rahan Community Hall starting at 8pm sharp.

The play tells the story of Dan (Aidan Grennan) and Mary (Mary O’ Brien) who invite Mary’s aunt Gertie (Mary Minnock) to stay with them after a spell in hospital. Mary tries to convince Gertie to make her will. Farm hand Francie Gilhooley (Eddie Grennan) tries to charm Gertie with a sudden interest in the ‘old demon’.
