BUSINESS has the biggest representation on Laois County County Council strategic meetings that are held behind closed doors.
Margaret Ryan, Mr Jason Redmond, Mr Pat Flanagan, Pat Culleton, and Mr Michael Kelly will represent Chambers Ireland at the meetings of the Strategic Policy Committees.
Farmers have three representatives: Mr Harry Vanston, Mr Michael McEvoy, and Francis Gorman represent the IFA.
The other members are Miriam Hamilton of ICTU who represents trade unions on two committees. Ms Kathleen Gorman, Mr Mick Dowling and Ms Sheelagh Coyle are Laois Community Forum members, while Mr Senan Gardiner is described as a Social Partnership Co-ordinator. County councillors sit on the committees.
