Now established as one of the most anticipated musical events of all Laois revellers’ calendars, the Heyday festival is back with a bang this year.
The festival will be taking place in Grellan Delaneys in Portlaoise on Friday December 27 and this year all proceeds will be going to the Laois Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
Organisers are currently putting the finishing touches to work behind the scenes, and have upgraded sound systems as well as having a few other tricks up their sleeves. As with other years, stages will be arranged by genre and there will be something for everyone.
They also have nearly all their musical slots booked out now, and those who want to take part might still be in with a chance, by contacting organisers as soon as possible on their Facebook page.
