The Dunamaise next week will be showing a Shakespearean production with a difference.
During a production break on Avengers Assemble, Joss Whedon gathered his favourite actors and shot Much Ado About Nothing in a fortnight in his own Hollywood home. It will be shown on Wednesday December 4 at teh arts centre.
What sounds like a vanity project, has turned out to be a real treat for Shakespeare lovers and Whedon’s own fanbase alike, delivering a witty, affectionate, and utterly convincing modern-dress version of the frisky comedy. Joss Whedon’s impact on youth culture is already hard to overestimate. Tickets are priced at €7 and are available now from the arts centre.
