Belfast born DJ David Holmes will be performing in the Set Theatre in Kilkenny on Easter Saturday, April 19.
Holmes began DJing in Belfast from the age of 15. His first hit was the 1992 track “De Niro” as the Disco Evangelists with Ashley Beedle and Lindsay Edwards.
In 1997, Holmes released ‘Let’s Get Killed’, and enjoyed his first commerical success with ‘My Mate Paul’. Since then he has completed many film soundtracks including Oceans Eleven, Oceans Twelve, Oceans Thirteen, Hunger, Analyse That, Out of Sight, Buffalo Soldiers, Perrier’s Bounty, The Edge, and The Shore alongside Foy Vance. As a remixer he has reworked tracks by artists such as U2, Doves, Manic Street Preachers, Primal Scream, Page and Plant, Saint Etienne and Ice Cube. Tickets are on sale now.
