Alf Harvey’s photography class exhibit in Portlaoise

A big night of amateur photography took place recently in Portlaoise when Alf Harvey’s Metac class exhibited some of their work in Portlaoise.

A big night of amateur photography took place recently in Portlaoise when Alf Harvey’s Metac class exhibited some of their work in Portlaoise.

Alf and his class were joined by Cathaoirleach of Laois County Council Cllr John Bonham was GAA president Liam O’Neill who officially opened the exhibition at the in County Hall, Portlaoise.

Alf, a Ballacolla native, is a regular contributor for the Leinster Express. He also runs a photography class at the Metac training centre in Mountrath.

His son Jeff Harvey, who is also a professional photographer, went along to get the best shots from the big night.
