Life drawing is fun and good for you

A life drawing workshop will be hosted in the Dunamaise Arts Centre over the coming weeks, by Eamon Colman, Aosdána.

Drawing from life is proven to be good for people as well as good fun.

Working on line and tone, discussing through a variety of poses, shape and movement, Eamon teaches through personal engagement rather than by demonstration, developing the personal voice and style of each life drawer, on this course suitable for experienced and beginners.

The workshops start today, Tuesday, May 10, from 7pm-8.30pm, and will continue until June 7.

The cost is €100 for five weeks, and to book a place contact the box office on 057 86 63355.

Participants should bring their own charcoal, 6B pencils, rubbers (allowed but discouraged) and graphite if they have some.
