The hopes of a lifetime in The God Box

The hopes of a lifetime in The God Box

The stirring tragicomic piece of theatre, The God Box comes to the Dunamaise Arts Centre this week, as part of Laois Connects.

In this engaging one woman, one-act play based on her New York Times bestselling memoir, Mary Lou Quinlan explores the laughter and tears of the story of a family in love, in loss and in triumph.

Telling a story that will move and delight, she recounts the discovery of her mother’s God box - a box filled with her hopes, wishes and prayers of a lifetime.

Mary Lou Quinlan is a remarkable woman. A hugely successful entrepreneur, she is widely known in the US for her marketing company, Just Ask a Woman, adviser to over 100 blue chip companies on marketing to women.

The God Box will be staged at the Dunamaise at 8pm this Thursday, October 13. Tickets are €18/€15.
