Santa on his way to Borris-in-Ossory

Santa Claus is coming to Borris-in-Ossory this December for a fun-filled visit ahead of his long journey on Christmas eve.

Borris-In-Ossory Santa Claus Club is holding a fundraising raffle for Santa's visit with prizes up to the value of €500.

Get your hands on raffle tickets at €2 or 3 for €5 available from all committee members, local shops and will be available on the day of Santa’s visit.

Santa is due to touch down in the PE hall at St. Joseph's National School on Saturday, December 16 at 2pm. He will stick around to see all of the local children until 5pm.

The fun won't stop there as there will also be a disco, face painting, gifts and surprises for all from Santa, for parents there will be a cup of tea and a creamy bun!

An admission fee will be taken up on the day and a portion of this will be donated to Borris-In-Ossory Social Services.

The big raffle prizes will be drawn at a function in Kelly's Bar at 10.30pm approx that night. A great day's and night’s entertainment is assured so everyone is encouraged to go along and support this worthy cause.
