The Durrow Fadó Writers Group and the local White Lady Drama Group have joined forces to bring local audiences a unique play, entitled ‘The Ferryman’s Daughter’.
This is an outdoor play depicting an episode in the rich history and heritage of 18th century Durrow. The first act of the play will commence on the banks of the river Erkina, then move to the Square and conclude in the grounds of Castle Durrow. The play will be performed during Heritage Week, on Tuesday August 26 and Wednesday August 27 commencing at 7.45pm each evening. Tickets are available from any member of the White Lady Drama Group or Durrow Fadó Writers Group.
