The life of one of the world’s best loved female vocalists will enrapture audiences when the ‘The Songs and Story of Dolly Parton’ comes to the Dunamaise next week.

This is a fascinating story, which captures the achievements of this incredible woman who created and performed some of the greatest and most instantly recognisable songs ever produced. Dolly Parton began her professional career at the tender age of 10. She made her grand Ole Opry debut three years later, and in 1971 had a first number one country hit with ‘Joshua’. In singing the songs and telling the story of Dolly Parton, Heidi McCaffrey performs a truly magnificent interpretation of all the classic songs of the living legend.

The show is supported by much-loved country entertainer, Richie Hayes best known from his appearance on ‘The Voice of Ireland.’ It will be staged at the Dunamaise tomorrow, Wednesday, October 15.
